As discovered in a 1975 village plan, the plot included a traditional wood oven. When the current owners purchased the house, they decided to rebuild it following traditional plans, materials and techniques, using local clay earth, broken glass and salt, fire-bricks and stone). The rebuilt wood oven was incorporated to the south gate of the house, according to space and village planning restrictions.
